Getting the doors off can be a pain to say the very least !!!!!!!!!!!!!! no swearing lol
It's best done by two people.

Before starting it's best to soak the door pins for a day or so in WD40 or any good releasing oil

You will need to buy a door pin removal tool for hollow pins.
Get a sykes one, as the one i have has removed about 30 doors and it's still going strong.
The laser ones break after a couple of doors(buy cheap, buy twice!)
1    Grind off the barb on the bottom of your door check strap pin, then push the pin up and out.
2     Remove the plastic bungs covering the pins and clean out any muck that is in the pins, wash out with WD40.
3    Insert the door pin tool into the bottom door pin so that the pin will come out upwards, screw on bottom of door pin     tool

4    Get your mate to hold the door pin tool bar in position on the pin and then place a blunt chisel on the bottom of the    bar. The chisel must be placed so when you hit the chisel with a VERY big hammer the force of the blow will be               straight up along the angle of the pin.
You may have to jack the car up to gain clearance for the swing of the hammer, drop the car back down to do the         top pin.

5    Top pin is dead easy, put removal pin in door pin so that you remove this one downwards. Again get your mate to       hold the removal tool bar in place while you position the chisel to give a you a direction which will deliver force             straight along the angle of the pin when you hit the chisel.

REMEMBER.. TOP ONE DOWN,BOTTOM ONE UP.
Replacement is easy, prefit new hollow pins into hinges so they are just held in, bottom of top one and top of bottom one.
Offer door up and knock the new pins in.
Replace door check strap rivit.
Parts are.
11063012- Door hinge pin...34p each
11081011--Strap rivit...10p each
3458232--Plastic plug...9p each

If your car is undergoing a restoration its easier to remove the wing then with the door closed you can get to the 'a' posts to remove the pins. Don't forget to remove the door check strap rivit before the door pins.
It sounds like a pain to do but once you have done a couple it,s so easy.
